One Verse Every Week 'INTERNAL RHYME AND END RHYME'

Updated: Sep 18, 2021

Staring at the external would perhaps get you the answer

What is the difference between internal rhyme and end rhyme?

Internal rhyme and end rhyme are determined by the position of the rhyme within a verse of a poem.

When the rhymes are placed in the middle of lines, and in some cases, these may also rhyme with words at the end of a line, these are internal rhymes. In the case of end rhymes rhyming words are placed at the end of lines.
